TGIF!!! Don’t worry, you can breathe now that the weekend is here. I cannot believe that as of this weekend we will be in September! This year has been so crazy and has gone by so fast!

Favorite Advice:
Putting on your own false eyelashes can be very tricky. You have to practice putting them on several times before you will get the hang of it. I wanted to do an easy lash application tutorial so that you can start applying your own falsies in no time!
Lately, I have been looking for a cute and easy way to store my earrings with posts. I already store my “hook” earrings on mason jars and you can check out the blog I did for them here. In the true spirit of crafting and being resourceful, I have been saving red wine corks for a while now. Corks are a great material because there is SO much you can do with them! I decided to hot glue my corks together in the shape of an “A” for “Amanda”. I hung my art on the wall and pressed my earrings into the corks. SO SIMPLE!

A common thing I hear from clients is “Can you come to my house and do my makeup every day?” Well, my friend Leah and I got to thinking. We could…or we could just teach you. We decided to join forces and start doing house parties. Women invite us over and for a very reasonable price, we show each woman how to apply their makeup. If you do not know what brand or colors to wear, we can help with that. If you have makeup at home and do not know how to apply it, we can help with that. Pretty simple, huh? Here are a few pictures from our party this past weekend.

Last weekend I was invited to a “Top Chef” dinner party and after experiencing it, I HAD to share it with all of you!
Three of my closest friends are absolutely amazing chefs. Chef Ashley Mitchell, Chef Ahmad Nourzad and Chef Carlo Oster. Chef Ahmad will soon be applying for one of the upcoming cycles of the hit show Top Chef. Ahmad attended CIA (one of the BEST culinary schools in the country) in Hyde Park, New York, and his fun, loving, creative and energetic personality is always represented in the kitchen and in the dishes he creates.
