My First Film

28 Jun

After going through some old files and emails, I found the video for the short film I worked on last year.  It was for the 24 Hour Film Race which was an awesome experience and allowed me to meet some truly amazing people.  Our film went on to win “Best Short Film” in the national competition.  I was so proud to work on it and thought I would share it with everyone.

Have a great day!

Hello All!

I wanted to keep everyone updated on our retail website!  It is getting a pretty cute makeover.  A few things here and there have been changed to make the site even easier to navigate and it is more aesthetically pleasing.  We have a new drop down menu, contact and networking buttons at the bottom, and there will be much more to come!  Make sure you visit LaceCosmetics.Com regularly to see the improvements that we are making!

If you have not tried Lace Cosmetics yet, we have free shipping right now on all purchases from LaceCosmetics.Com!

Have a great Hump Day!

Love Local, Support Local, Buy Local

25 Jun

Happy Monday!!!

Thank you to all who came out to Demure on Saturday for our Trunk Show!  If you did not make it, you SO missed out!  No worries, though.  I’ll fill you in 🙂

I had the pleasure of teaming up with some absolutely AMAZING vendors.  I am a huge supporter of local business and love spreading the word for those that I meet and work with.  All of the vendors below are sold at Demure ( so please make sure you check them out!!

Studded Staxxx

Studded Staxxx has some of the cutest stack bracelets I have ever seen!  From flashy hand covering bracelets to simple beaded pieces, there is a perfect collection for everybody.

Turquoise Peach

Started by sisters Lauren and Lindsay Masters, Turquoise Peach is a unique collection of scarves and jewelry.  All of the items are pieces that the girls handpicked and have brought back from India.  Trust me, if you love scarves, you are going to drool over this collection!

BLee and LadyLee

The meaning behind this line really touched my heart.  I was so lucky to meet CEO & Chief Designer, Bobby Ennis.  Lady Lee and BLee are clothing lines that helps raise awareness for battered and homeless women.  Bobby’s organization is working towards raising the money to create and run a shelter that will help women get off of the streets and out of violent situations and start new lives. will be live later this week and proceeds from all clothing purchases will go towards this remarkable foundation.  Please take the time to check them out.

Fix Your Mitts

21 Jun

As women,  it is understood that as part of our beauty routines, we must always make sure that our nails are well manicured and polished.  If they aren’t…we jump in the car and make an emergency trip to the nail salon!  If you do not live your life by this policy, change your ways.  It is unacceptable. Just sayin.

Nails have really been making a big splash in magazines and on the runway.  We aren’t just talking about simple one color mani’s.  You can either be on trend with color blocking or with some serious hardware.  Literally, the way your nails look is just as important as how you look in a great pair of stilettos.

I went back through old pictures from this past year and found some awesome nail looks I have had.  Hopefully it will inspire you to go out and be a nail fashionista as well 🙂

Before we part, I will leave you with a quick “how to” photo tutorial for making a nail design with straws!!

Long Time, No See

20 Jun

Hello!!!  Wow, talk about being MIA!  Between moving 3 times this year, my sisters wedding and working with all of my fabulous clients….life has been crazy!  Here is a photo diary of what I have been up to.

After traveling across the country twice, it was time for a massive kit clean out.

Selling Lace at Demure Boutique. Laura and I were looking lovely in Leopard 🙂

Taking a ride around the airplane hanger with my Sister In Law. If only I knew how to drive a stick!

Enjoying mani/pedi’s with the wedding party at Nouvelle Nail Spa in West Midtown. They were all glued to their iPhones. Hilarious.

The Final Result!!

My sister and I were making our fabulous exit from the W Hotel the night of her Bachelorette Party. ❤ her.

Last minute touch ups before walking down the aisle

The most beautiful bride-to-be I have ever seen :*)

I’m glad to be back and look forward to sharing so much more with you.
